NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is funded by the Federal Government to support people with a disability, their families and carers. People with a disability are provided with funding to pay for services, equipment and supports needed to improve their independence and a quality life. 

ATSICHS Mackay has been a registered provider of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) since March 2021. We offer a range of supports, including support coordination, allied health, assistance with daily living, social/community participation and transport. We specialise in providing culturally appropriate services for our people.  Our staff are experienced and sensitive to the needs of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

 

If you are already a registered NDIS participant, contact ATSICHS Mackay to find out how we can support you with our range of culturally appropriate services including:

  • Assistance to access community, social and recreational activities

  • Support Coordination and Support Connection

  • Household cleaning and other household activities

  • Transport

  • Yard Maintenance

What if I don’t have an NDIS plan?

  • Learning about the NDIS and how it works.

  • Identifying your goals and aspirations.

  • Supporting you to gather documentation and putting together your application.
