NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is funded by the Federal Government to support people with a disability, their families and carers. People with a disability are provided with funding to pay for services, equipment and supports needed to improve their independence and a quality life. 

ATSICHS Mackay has been a registered provider of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) since March 2021. We offer a range of supports, including support coordination, allied health, assistance with daily living, social/community participation and transport. We specialise in providing culturally appropriate services for our people.  Our staff are experienced and sensitive to the needs of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

What if I don’t have an NDIS plan?

You can contact the National Disability Insurance Scheme on 1800 800 110 or visit their website www.ndis.gov.au for more information.

You can also speak with NDIS Team Manager to assist you with:

  • Learning about the NDIS and how it works

  • Working out your reasonable and necessary supports

  • Identifying your goals and aspirations

  • Supporting you to gather documentation and putting together your application
